About

Thanks for viewing my blog!

This is my online space where I can freely vent about things I can’t easily discuss in day to day life. I plan to fill it with stories from my current “profession” and other general musings. I have a tendency to abuse both commas as quotation marks, so take it with a pinch of salt. It feels kind of nice to be able to do without receiving my work covered in red ink. I am free to annoyingly use whatever punctuation I choose.

I hope you enjoy reading some of my posts and if you have anything to add, feel free to say so in a comment 🙂

  1. I am also a muslim who wants to be a stripper. I just need a little rebellion. Even if I don’t make a lot of money I just really want to pole dance in front of all those people. I find your story inspiring, you don’t meet many muslim girls who want to strip and do crazy things.

    • If you do want to start stripping, just make sure you do it somewhere you won’t get caught! In all honesty, I really miss it and am thinking of starting again at a new club. It’s a great outlet to express yourself with and a lot of fun. It’s true, you don’t find many muslim girls doing these things, or at least not in Scottish clubs. There are a surprising number of Catholics though and they seem to be doing it for similar reasons. If you do try it, good luck!

  2. Hey,

First and foremost, I wanted to start out by saying that I greatly appreciate your contributions on this blog. My main question for you however is whether or not you take a moral issue with the men who frequent strip clubs? I’m planning to attend one soon, but would appreciate your input.

    • Hey Random Dude, thanks for taking the time to go through my posts. Personally, no, I don’t look down on people who go to strip clubs. I’m guilty of being a customer to a few myself.
It is rude to go and not tip the girls for their services, however. Many guys seem to think that because they have paid a fee to get in and bought a drink that it means they’re good to stay and gawp for the rest of the night. Which is perfectly understandable for those who don’t know for it works, I used to think the same.
Thing is, the dancers aren’t given anything that you pay at the door or at the bar which means that they would essentially be working for free. It’s made even worse by the fact that many clubs charge a fee for the girls to be there, so if they are not paid for their services, they could not only end up working all night for free, but owing money to the club on top of that.

Just make sure that if you don’t buy a dance, at least tip a £/$/€ to someone giving a good show in the pole!

I know my reply has come far too late for your particular trip (sorry), but hope it helps anyway 🙂
